Hugh M. Turcotte, Licensed Acupuncturist
As a second generation practitioner, Hugh is a lifelong learner of the Oriental healing arts, utilizing a wide range of medical modalities with his patients, including Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture styles, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Medical Qi Gong, Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage), cupping therapy, moxibustion, topical herbal therapies, polarity therapies, Auricular (Ear) therapy, and Electro-Acupuncture. Hugh believes that the superior medicine reignites our innate self-healing capacities by simultaneously re-establishing structure and function, calming and centering the mind, and revealing to each of us our greatest Self.
Prior to his career as a health professional, Hugh was a small business tax accountant, a high school mathematics teacher, and a football coach. He regularly gives talks to other health professionals and to the general public on the science and art of Acupuncture and enjoys practicing Wu Ji Qi Gong and spending time with his wife and son.
